Awesome August Blog Hop

The winner of Stephanie Humphries new book, Double Deceit, is:
Amydee Fawcett
Congratulations!
Another round of fun giveaways starts today.

Welcome to the Awesome August Blog Hop, where bloggers from all over the Internet have come together to throw a summertime party!

Every blog on this hop is offering a fun prize, and entering is quick and easy. Simply follow the instructions on each blog, leave a comment, and bop right along to the next blog. You can win multiple times, so be sure to check out all the participating blogs!

On my blog, two entrants can win one of four like-new books. The first winner will receive first choice of books, and second will choose next. I have read and enjoyed each of these and hope you will too.

They are, alphabetically: (Sorry, the images are not working.)
Matched by Ally Condie
Secret Sisters by Tristi Pinkston
The Fourth Nephite by Jeffery Savage
Wrong Number by Rachelle Christensen

To enter:
1. Become a follower of my blog.

2. Leave me a comment explaining one favorite idea you enjoy from other blogs. (I will later consider incorporating those that work for me.) If your e-mail isn't available through your profile, I'll need you to leave that, too - I can't tell you if you've won if I can't contact you! If you have trouble leaving a comment, leave it at renaemackley AT gmail.com

This blog hop runs through Wednesday night at midnight, so be sure to enter before then! The winner will be notified by e-mail.

Now that you've entered my contest, come meet all my other blog friends and see what fun things they are offering!

Hi Renae! I'm a follower of your blog and I love the Teaser Tuesdays meme, where bloggers share 2-3 lines from the latest book they're reading. If my name is drawn and I'm eligible for either Matched or The Fourth Nephite, let me know. I have and have read the other two.

Thanks for the great giveaway!

I follow a blog that does a "Sharing Beyond Books" giveaway where she asks a random question as your entry.

I like the first chapter options of books, so if you're a writer (or a reader) you can post the first chapter! I follow you now! Thanks!

I'm a new follower and one of my favorite things about blogs is when there is an index available to easily search for past reviews (by title and/or author).
Thanks for the giveaway!

I enjoy reading author interviews on book blogs. I also appreciate bloggers who give a head's up on content that might be offensive. I'm a new follower here. Thanks for the chance to read these books.

I have followed. I like it when the person posting poses some sort of question to open the topic up for discussion.

Hello!

I was already a subscriber of your blog, though I just re-subscribed through Google Reader. :)

One of my favorite ideas from blogs are the "In My Mailbox" photos or vlogs, showing the new books they've gotten to review or from the library. Love the idea... I should implement it myself!

I follow your blog. I am just starting to look at blogs - I want to start one myself so looking for ideas too. I like when a question is asked - like you did.

I am a GFC follower-judy

I love when the blogs showcase the books covers. Some of them show the different covers that each book publishes.

New GFC follower. I like it when there's a tab that you click that lists all books reviewed alphabetically. That makes the search so much easier!

Thanks! widsfam7 @ digis dot net

GFC follower as Abby

I like author interviews and book cover posts! It's funny sometimes, the answers authors give to a blogger's questions

I like when blogs use Google forms or Rafflecopter widget for contests. It makes enetering much quicker, and for the RC widget also no duplicate entries.

Hi Renae. I'm new to your blog, and excited to be here. Blogfests rock!

So ideas... I'm rather partial to Flash Fiction Friday, and Six Sentence Saturday, and the "picture post" day (where the message is just that, a cool, funny or inspiring picture or two or three). If I blogged more than once a week I might have to implement a few of those myself.

I'd love to know where music composition took you--what type etc.

P.S. I'm eyeing Matched. =)

I'm a follower. And one of the ideas I like from other blogs is random lists from the author's brain because it helps me get to know them better.

Great responses, everyone. The 2 book winners will be posted Monday. Thanks for following!

… Unbelievable , but I just found software which can do all hard work promoting your renaeswritespot.blogspot.com website on complete autopilot - building backlinks and getting your website on top of Google and other search engines 1st pages, so your site finally can get laser targeted qualified traffic, and so you can get lot more visitors for your website.

YEP, that’s right, there’s this little known website which shows you how to get to the top 10 of Google and other search engines guaranteed.

I used it and in just 7 days… got floods of traffic to my site...

…Well check out the incredible results for yourself -

I’m not trying to be rude here, but I believe when you find something that finally works you should share it…

…so that’s what I’m doing today, sharing it with you:
